The minister said, “Seven violations of the nationwide directive were recorded and the violators fined. Four violated the measure by being outside of their homes during the 8pm to 4am movement restriction period, with two violations being not having the BruHealth app and one for not wearing a face mask.”

The four Operasi Pulih violators were locals Md Norhasnan bin Abdul Rahman Umi, Md Syahruni bin Abdullah Degat, Awangku Yahya bin Pengiran Mohamad and Pengiran Abdul Rahim bin Pengiran Haji Pungut.

Three violations were recorded in Brunei-Muara District, three in Belait District and one in Temburong District, according to the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF).

The RBPF urged the public not to be complacent and to practise social distancing, wear a face mask when leaving home to reduce the spread of infection and the emergence of new clusters.
