Organised by the Coaching and Sports Development Unit (UKPS), Belait District branch of the Youth and Sports Department, the roadshow saw more than 100 Year 8 and Year 9 students participating.

The roadshow served to introduce and promote fencing and represents an opportunity for the UKPS to scout potential athletes and enlist them as part of the scheme under the Youth and Sports Department.

Among the activities conducted included a basic information course on fencing, delivered by National Assistant Fencing Coach Haji Zainoreen bin Haji Mohd Yusof.

Also present at the roadshow were Head of the Belait District branch of Youth and Sports Gaung Jamit, UKPS Belait District branch Coordinator Kamarul Arifin bin Mohamad Harif, as well as several instructors of the UKPS Belait District Branch.
