    James Kon

Korean Festival 2022 began with vibrant dances performed by members of the Universiti Brunei Darussalam Korean Culture Club at Times Square Shopping Centre yesterday.

Hosted by the Embassy of Korea in Brunei Darussalam and co-organised by Times Square Shopping Centre, the festival will continue until tomorrow.

The three-day event also includes activities, workshops and demonstrations including cooking classes, Hanbok dress-up and photo booth, K-pop performances, taekwondo demonstrations, quizzes, and traditional dance performances.

Lucky draws are also held throughout the event. Customers will receive a passport coupon at the lucky draw counter and must collect a minimum of 10 stamps from exhibitors to be eligible for the draw, with the grand prize of a return ticket to Korea up for grabs.

The public can visit exhibitions by companies including Ceragem, Choi’s Toppoki, Cuckoo, Freme Travel Services, Grand Motors, Intracorp, Antara Travel, Meet U All, Pan Bright Travel and Setia Motors.
