The Football Association of Brunei Darussalam’s (FABD) main office is set to feature enhanced facilities including a gymnasium once current renovation works have been completed.
FABD President Pengiran Haji Matusin bin Pengiran Haji Matasan said, “We are currently refurbishing our main building. Once the refurbishment is done, there will be rooms for the coaches, referees and other technical staff.
“There will also be a gymnasium where the players can use to develop their physique.”
He added, “With these facilities, there is ample room for lectures and practical and hopefully we can extend this to the clubs especially our members.”
The FABD recently received a boost with the construction of a new technical centre and a mini grandstand through the FIFA Forward Project.
The president said, “The funding comes from the FIFA Forward Project financial assistance.
“We would like to maximise the use of these funds solely for the purpose of giving facilities to our staff and our members.”
The new technical centre, located at Jalan Pusat Persidangan, is expected to be completed within six months.
