Exotic Polish cuisine to tantalise tastebuds

THE Rizqun Coffee House, in collaboration with Laksamana College of Business and Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kuala Lumpur will launch for the first time ever, Polish cuisine as its latest food promotion tomorrow.

Two Polish chefs were flown to the Sultanate to demonstrate their professional cooking skills during the promotion.

Chef Marcin Budynek and Chef Marious Olechno who have vast experiences and expertise in their field will feature a number of Polish foods.

According to the chef’s spokesperson, Jo Anna E Jurcyga, the chefs will emphasise a selection of cuisines influenced by the Muslim minority Tartar in Poland, and at the same time showcasing Polish dishes such as the Sour Soup, Chicken and Beef Soup, Beef Stroganoff and many more.

Jo Anna said the foods in Poland also have the influence of the seasonal weather change, and Polish love to consume potato in many of their dishes be it baked, steamed or cooked.

In addition, with such introduction of Polish cuisine in the country, it will open more business opportunities especially among youth to pursue or learn Polish dishes.

There will be a live cooking demonstration to highlight the promotion.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Malaysia, Professor Krzystof Debnicki will officiate the launch of the Polish cuisine promotion.
