The sense of excitement was palpable at Jigsaw Primary School yesterday as exuberant Kindergarten 1 and 2 students made their way back to school, with a full 30 per cent attendance recorded.
The young ‘uns turned up earlier than the scheduled time, seemingly eager to get back to in-person lessons with their classmates.
The kindergarteners have been allowed to return to physical classes since January 17, by adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) approved by the Ministry of Education (MoE).
Jigsaw Primary School CEO and Principal Helen Chin said, “We thank parents for entrusting their children in our care. We hope the school will be open for all of the other levels soon.”
