    ‘Every test has its wisdom’

    Every human is tested with mishaps in worldly matters by Allah the Almighty. Every test has its secret and teaches us not to lose hope in life.

    This was highlighted by religious teacher, Level II at the Youth Development Centre, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Haji Masfourteen bin Haji Mohammad Yussof during Munajat night on Saturday.

    “Every blessing and test is either joy or pain, hardship or ease, slow or fast and has its wisdom in which every human must be grateful and accept it with a sincere heart.

    “We must be satisfied with Allah the Almighty’s knowledge and manifestation of power to gain His blessing,” he said.

    Kampong Sungai Hanching Mosque Adviser Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohammad bin Haji Serudin attended the event and led the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah.

    This was followed by the reading of Surah Yaasiin led by Hassanal Bolkiah Boys Arabic Secondary School (SMALHB) Education Officer Haji Khairul Anwar bin Haji Muhammad and his colleagues.

    A Doa Munajat was read by Ma’had Islam Brunei Deputy Principal for Administration Haji Aziman bin Haji Zaman while the recitation of Asmaa Ul-Husna was led by Kampong Sungai Hanching Mosque youth Muhammad Faris Zayani bin Muhammad Firdausil Amin, joined by other mosque youth.

    Mosque Affairs Officer from Kampong Sungai Hanching Mosque Haji Abdul Malik bin Haji Jumat read the Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.

    Youth, Kampong Sungai Hanching Mosque Takmir committee members as well as officers, teachers and students of SMALHB attended.

    Ummah from 101 mosques, suraus and religious halls, workforce and family members from the Ministry of Religious Affairs also participated.

    The Munajat night invites worshippers to multiply their daily religious practice by reciting Al-Quran, supplicate, reciting Zikir, Istightar to seek forgiveness, protection and blessings from Allah the Almighty as well as to supplicate for the people and the nation are spared from calamity and dangerous diseases and able to curb COVID-19.
