The British High Commission in Brunei Darussalam handed over 50 packed meals to the frontliners at Bridex drive-through swab centre yesterday.

The meal comprised roasted herb chicken with vegetables and yorkshire pudding, banana spice muffin and an apple, prepared by Chef Wilson Fung of British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam John Virgoe’s residence. The high commissioner was also involved in packing the meals.

He said, “We are delighted to send packed meals to the frontliners and that some of our British soldiers have been deployed to Bridex to support national efforts in tackling the
second wave.”

The initiative is in its second of four weeks. Last week, the high commission handed over 70 packed meals to the Public Health Contact Tracing Team at the Ministry of Health.
