Enliven Ramadhan with religious obligations

Apart from fasting during daytime, Muslims should enliven the evenings of Ramadhan with religious obligations, said His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik, Chairman of Governors of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Yayasan) in a sabda at the launch of the distribution of dates as kurnia peribadi (personal gift) from His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on Saturday.

His Royal Highness said Ramadhan is a month with lessons and examples based in Islamic teachings for the betterment of life.

His Royal Highness encouraged the practice of religious obligations after fasting during the daytime, such as Sunnat Terawih, bertedarus, giving alms and performing Sunnat prayers.
