The Youth Da’ie Volunteer Body in supporting the Youth Religious Programme Secretariat, Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) organised the 20th ‘Ilm Series Programme at Kampong Merangking Religious Hall, Belait District yesterday.
The programme’s format was a forum on ‘Rasulullah, an Icon of Quality Life’ in conjunction with the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Religious Development Officer from the PDI Isham bin Ismail shared stories of Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) life for new converts to serve as a role model.
The ceremony saw the recitation of Dikir Marhaban led by Youth Da’ie Volunteer Body members.
Legislative Council member and penghulu of Mukim Bukit Sawat Yang Berhormat Haji Md Salleh bin Haji Othman and acting village head of Kampong Merangking Raimey bin Abdullah attended the programme.
Some 100 participants joined the 20th Ilm Series Programme, comprising members of the Youth Da’ie Volunteer Body, As-Syahadah Muallaf Youth Group, participants of the Al-Quran 4 Life (Q4L) and Icon Muallaf programmes and the public. – Rokiah Mahmud
