Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College (Maktab Duli) held a two-day ‘Youth Voices Out’ (YOV) at its premises recently.
It was conducted in collaboration with officials from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS).
The event focused on leadership and community, emotional intelligence quotient (EQ) versus intelligence quotient (IQ), being knowledgeable, and moral values and religion.
The students comprised leaders of the students representative council and peer counsellors, as well as monitors.
The panel of speakers were Head of Government Relations and Special Projects Division at Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam Haji Yusri bin Wahsalfelah; Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali’s visiting counsellor Ali Yusri bin Haji Abdul Ghafor; and Acting Assistant Director and Community Development Officer of the Community Development Department Irnawati binti Haji Mahir. – Azlan Othman
