It is important for Muslims to embrace the lessons behind the events of Israk Mikraj to emulate good things and avoid wrong doings, according to a religious talk during the 75th Munajat on Saturday night.
The events of Israk Mikraj depict extraordinary events that have lessons to empower Islamic faith and remind Muslims of Allah the Almighty and to fear His power, said religious officer at the Islamic Da’wah Centre Muhammad Syamim Farhan bin Haji Sufri.
If the events in Israk Mikraj were studied and truly embraced, it is possible that humans would be able to prevent themselves from committing various evils, he said from Pengiran ‘Abdul Mateen Mosque in Kampong Mulaut.
The weekly Munajat night invites people to multiply their daily practices by reciting Al-Quran, praying, reciting Zikir and Istighfar, and to ask Allah the Almighty for forgiveness, protection, mercy and blessings.
