The Embassy of Qatar in Brunei Darussalam yesterday hosted a dinner reception at the Royal Berkshire Hall, Tarindak D’Polo, Jerudong to mark its national day celebration.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof attended the event, joined by Qatari Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Jassim Ali Al-Obaidli.
This year’s national day celebration carried the motto, “Our Unity is the Source of Our Success”, a quote from Qatar Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
