Eight remain at NIC

The Sultanate continued to record no new COVID-19 cases as of yesterday, keeping the national tally of confirmed cases at 221. No local transmissions have been recorded for 347 days.

Eight active cases remain at the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in Tutong District, following the recovery of three cases yesterday.

According to the Ministry of Health (MoH), 579 individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government provided centres, while 16,826 have completed their stint since March 2020. Over the last 24 hours, 136 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV-2, amounting to 118,108 tests conducted in total since January 2020.
