PERSONNEL of the Limau Manis Police Station with cooperation from the Royal Customs and Excise Department detained two locals for allegedly selling and possessing firecrackers yesterday.
The suspects were nabbed at the parking areas of the Kampong Masin Mosque following a vehicle search, leading to the detection of the firecrackers in the front passenger seat.
The first suspect is Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan bin Pengiran Haji Munap, an unemployed 48-year-old, while the second suspect is Nurlini binti Suhaimei, 33, an unemployed local.
The case is investigated under Section 146 of the Excise Order 2006.
