Drill tests company’s emergency readiness

Abdul Razak Holdings, in collaboration with the Public Relation Unit of Operation ‘A’ Branch of the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD), 26 personnel from the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and 10 personnel from the Emergency Medical Ambulance Services (EMAS) conducted a bomb threat emergency drill at The Rizqun International Hotel recently.

Two fire trucks along with 20 fire and rescue personnel from Beribi Fire Station led by Station Commander of the Beribi Fire Station Assistant Superintendent Muhd Saifuddin bin Abdullah – were deployed.

A trained fire marshal from the company was also involved in the building evacuation mission that contained 120 officers and staff. The drill sought to test the company’s capability in handling emergency situations, to enhance public awareness, inculcate a sense of responsibility in fire safety and follow effective and systematic procedures in emergency situations.
