Alliance Française de Brunei Darussalam celebrated six Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française (DELF) diploma holders at Jalan Tungku on December 11.

French Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Christian Ramage said the certificates, valid for life and recognised worldwide, will give the holders opportunities to study, work or migrate to France or any French speaking countries.

President of Alliance Française de Brunei Darussalam Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Laila Diraja Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hazair bin Haji Abdullah presented the certificates to the students alongside the French Ambassador.

The organisation stated that they began to operate as an examination centre for DELF Proficiency Test since the beginning of the year, and is central to Borneo.

DELF is an official certification of French language ability for non-native speakers awarded by the French Ministry of Education.
