    Donations, Tedarus and appreciation for retired teachers

    The Islamic Studies Department (JPI) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs held the closing ceremony of Tedarus Al-Quran for teachers and staff of religious schools across the country in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan.

    For religious schools in the Brunei-Muara Zone IIA and IIB area, the ceremony was held at the multipupose hall of Pengiran Anak Puteri Muta-Wakkilah Hayatul Bolkiah Religious School in Kampong Serusop.

    Acting Assistant Director (Professional) at the JPI Haji Ayob bin Haji Ghani was the chief guest.

    Islamic studies officer Mohd Hady bin Bukhari attended the Brunei IIB area event.

    For Brunei-Muara Zone III, the ceremony took place at Beribi Gadong Religious School. Islamic studies officer Mohd Fauzi bin Haji Zaini was also present.

    Meanwhile, for religious schools in the Temburong District, the ceremony was attended by Islamic studies officer Hajah Rosita binti Haji Yaakub, who handed over donations to the orphans.

    In the Brunei-Muara Zone I, the ceremony was held at Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Masna Religious School Surau, joined by Assistant Director (Study Institutions) at the JPI Hajah Mariana binti Haji Jamil.

    The event continued with the Kelinga Ramadhan programme which saw the presentation of donations to 42 orphans of religious schools in Brunei-Muara Zone I.

    For Brunei-Muara Zone IV, the event was held at Pengiran Anak Puteri Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam Religious School Hall in Kampong Mulaut. Acting Assistant Director (Professional) of the JPI Haji Ayob bin Haji Ghani was also present. – Azlan Othman
