A total of 41 residents of Kampong Subok comprising 21 orphans and 20 single elderly mothers received donations from Joyful Garden.
The ceremony held a the Joyful Garden was attended by Legislative Council member and Village Head of Kampong Subok Yang Berhormat Awang Lawi bin Haji Lamat. Owner, Wilson Lim Chee Khiong presented the donations.
The owner shared that the event was an annual activity before it was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He also expressed his joy on being able to continue with the charitable activity and plans to help more of those underpriveleged.
