Donations continued to pour in from local companies yesterday to aid the Ministry of Health (MoH) in putting a lid on the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.
Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sdn Bhd (BSM) handed over BND13,608, which was proceeds from the sales of Shell Helix and Shell Rimula between May 7 and June 7 in support of the COVID-19 Relief Fund.
Additionally, the company contributed over 1,000 discount coupons for car servicing at BSM Shell Helix-branded workshops for frontliners, volunteers and MoH staff. BSM Managing Director Muhammad Norshafiee bin Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil handed over the contributions to Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Management) at the MoH Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin.
Meanwhile, in a separate ceremony, Acting Chief Executive Officer (Special Grade) at the MoH Haji Abdul Khalid As’ari bin Haji Azahari received BND3,200 in donation from Pizza Hut Brunei, presented by its Finance Executive Dayangku Fathin Nabilah binti Pengiran Tejuddin and BND3,400 from Dairy Queen Brunei, handed over by its Marketing Executive Nur Faizah binti Ja’afar.
