One hundred and forty-seven children with special needs from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received donations in ceremonies held concurrently at Bolkiah Garrison, Berakas Camp, Muara Camp, Rimba Air Base and Penanjong Camp as part of the community service activities organised in conjunction with the RBAF’s 59th anniversary.
Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) Brigadier General Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan presented the donations to 30 recipients at Officers’ Mess, First Battalion RBLF, Berakas Camp. Meanwhile, 30 children received donations presented by Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) First Admiral Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji at Samudera Hall in Muara Camp.
Subsequently, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim presented donations to 29 recipients at Punai Hall, Rimba Air Base.
Donations were also presented to 29 children by Chief of Staff of RBAF Colonel (U) Abdul Rahman bin Haji Durahman at the Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, Bolkiah Garrison; while another 29 received donations from Acting Commandant of the RBAF Training Institute Lieutenant Colonel Aldi bin Haji Hassan at Penanjong Camp.
The Wives Association of the RBAF (BAKTI), Language and Literature Bureau and Cooperative Limited Company of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (KOWIRA), AMJ Enterprise and Royal Brunei Technical Services (RBTS) contributed to the fund.
