Members of the public can give away their unused shoes to ‘Donate Your Shoes’ initiative after the official launch ceremony at Under Armour, One Riverside.
Arrowtech Sports Marketing Executive Siti Syazwana binti Haji Mohd Zulkifli said the initiative serves to help the underprivileged in the country by giving them a pair of shoes donated by the public.
The campaign also encourages the act of giving gently-worn items a new lease of life.
Organised by Arrowtech Sports, this campaign “Is also part of our corporate social responsibility programme”, said Siti Syazwana.
The initiative will run for a month from November 10 to December 10, with a target of 1,000 pairs of shoes collected.
Members of the public keen on making a donation can head to one of the four drop-off locations: namely Under Armour at One Riverside, Run Trail Nation at One Riverside, Golf Nation Brunei at Mabohai Shopping Complex and Run Trail Nation at Panaga Seria.
The highlight of the launch was a donation made by Arrowtech Sports General Manager Huu Lim, and spouse Lim Poh Lin.
