Thirty Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) personnel deployed as part of the Malaysian Battalion 850-9 (MALBATT 850-9) under the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) completed a 13-month peacekeeping mission and returned to the country.
The contingent, led by Major Muhd Yusddy Affenddy bin Haji Amran, returned to the Sultanate on December 6. A Doa Kesyukuran to welcome the return of the RBAF personnel was held at Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garrison on Friday.
