Delicious treats await as 4th branch opens

McDonald’s officially opened its fourth branch at the Airport Mall in Brunei Darussalam yesterday.

Chairman of Makan Ceria Sdn Bhd Edzwan Zukri bin Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Haji Adanan along with the board of directors; representative from McDonald’s Asia Business Unit, Sharon Ng; partners and stakeholders of Makan Ceria were present.

Acting General Manager of Makan Ceria Haji Muhammad Munir Syafiq bin Dato Paduka Awang Haji Metassan said Makan Ceria is on an accelerated growth journey with plans to open more branches over the next few years.

“We have a dedicated team who put its core values into practice every single day when serving customers. We aim to provide great hospitality and convenience to customers.

“With this, we strive to be a pillar in the communities we operate in, and at the same time provide job opportunities for locals and youth, making a positive impact to the communities,” he added.

A tour was made towards a mural created by students of Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam in the vicinity of the restaurant, as part of the community outreach programme by McDonald’s Brunei.

A donation box has also been inaugurated for the non-governmental organisation, the Brunei Darussalam Red Crescent Society (BRC).
