AN ADMINISTRATIVE clerk for the Police Royal Guard yesterday asked the Intermediate Court for time to consider her plea towards the charge of embezzling BND17,775 worth of internal funds between November 17, 2016 and April 13, 2017.

The charge pressed by DPP Dayangku Didi-Nuraza binti Pengiran Haji Abdul Latiff alleges that Norwidyawati binti Haji Moktal, 44, committed criminal breach of trust in embezzling money for the Royal Brunei Police Force’s (RBPF) Welfare and Sports Fund, which had been entrusted to her by the officers and personnel of the Police Royal Guard. Judge Muhammed Faisal bin Pehin Dato Haji Kefli granted the defendant’s request, and adjourned the case to July 29.
