Decors taken down to mark closing of royal wedding

The Royal Regalia and pemajangan decorations put up along balai pemajangan at Istana Nurul Iman and balai pemajangan at Darussidiq in Jerudong were dismantled after the closing of Istiadat Membaca Doa Selamat and Menutup Gendang Jaga-Jaga ceremony yesterday, marking the end to the royal wedding celebrations between Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Suami Abdullah Nabil Mahmoud Al-Hashimi.

The royal wedding offered a golden opportunity for the people, especially the younger generation, to better understand the Sultanate’s history, culture and unique heritage.

The installation of the Royal Regalia and pemajangan decorations are put up during royal festivities, including processions, coronation and royal weddings.

The beautiful décor is unique to the Sultanate, withstanding the test of time and technological advancements to showcase the rich customs and traditions of the nation.
