I was recently driving along Jalan Dato Taib 1 when I saw a car stop in the middle of the road to let his children out.
It was around the time when afternoon classes began.
I understand that as a parent, he didn’t want his children late for school. However, such a practice caused unnecessary traffic congestion and negated road rules set up to keep motorists and pedestrians safe.
I hope the authorities could look into more stringent enforcement in the area.
