CUCKOO International Brunei Sdn Bhd signed up to be one of the sponsors of the Fitness Zone’s ‘New Me Transformation Challenge’ – a six-month fitness challenge that hopes to change Bruneians’ lifestyle to be fit and healthy – in a signing ceremony yesterday morning.
Cuckoo International Brunei Sdn Bhd Marketing Director Wong Hui Ting and General Manager of Fitness Zone Mike Abacan signed the sponsorship deal.
Wong Hui Ting said “Cuckoo International Brunei Sdn Bhd is glad to partner with Fitness Zone to promote the idea of combining both healthy living and fitness. This is a good platform for us to not only promote fitness but also maintain a healthy lifestyle. Besides sponsoring our appliances, we will also be giving away cooking demo vouchers to learn how to cook nutritious food with ease.”
Managing Director of Fitness Zone Wu Chun in a statement said, “We have never expected the turnout would be this good since the announcement. We would like to extend our thanks to Cuckoo International Brunei Sdn Bhd for their support.”
The ‘New Me Transformation Challenge’ initiative which will run from April 1 until October 12 is open for the public to join and registration will be closed on March 31.
There are two categories under the challenge namely: Progresif Weight Loss Challenge and RB Fitness Take Off Challenge. Each category is limited to 300 people only.
Winner of the Progresif Weight Loss Challenge will be receiving a brand new KTOP mild-alkaline water purifier that comes with the service package and winner of the RB Fitness Take Off Challenge is set to receive a brand new M10 Multi cooker.
Throughout the competition, participants will be given information on the right eating habits, dietary guidelines and workout programmes created specifically for them.
A registration fee of BND50 is required to take part in the challenge which also entitled them to some benefits.
