Cuckoo international (Brunei) Sdn Bhd celebrated its third anniversary yesterday with launching of three new Cuckoo products, Cuckoo Connect Online platform and Cuckoo Experience Centre Initiative (CEC) at a gala dinner.
Held at the Serambi Suluh Hall of Tarindak D’ Seni in Kota Batu, more than 400 guests attended the special event to celebrate achievements and milestones of the year.
Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Brunei Darussalam Lee Tae Hyun was the guest of honour.
CEO of Cuckoo International Malaysia KC Hoe, Chairman & CEO of Cuckoo International Brunei Wong Yong Lin, Executive Director of Cuckoo International Brunei Wong Kim Leong, Marketing Director of Cuckoo International Brunei Wong Hui Ting were also present.
The Managing Director of Cuckoo Brunei Wong Kim Guan said that Cuckoo Brunei will continue to stay committed in maintaining and improving its after sales services.
Cuckoo Brunei will also continue to give back to the community through various initiatives like donations and creating career opportunities for locals, he said.
Wong Kim Guan added, “as part of the company responsibility, we have created over 100 career opportunities for Bruneians using our platform and we will continue to meet our objectives of providing for our local employees to have the opportunity to grow, develop and succeed with Cuckoo.”
The event also saw over 20 awards handed out to staff in recognition of their chief managerial and managerial promotions, income, sales contributions and outstanding performance.
In conjunction with the anniversary, Cuckoo Brunei launched all new three temperature Cuckoo xcel water purifier, Cuckoo Max Blender and Cuckoo C Plus Model Air Purifier.
Cuckoo Connect Online platform aims to bring convenience to Cuckoo customers by providing easy access to all their Cuckoo purchases information. Cuckoo live chat system, product information, monthly payments and fun new recipes for Cuckoo multi pressure cookers are also available.
In addition, Cuckoo Brunei’s all new Cuckoo Experience Centre Initiative (CEC) is a platform for customers to experience and have a glimpse of the Cuckoo products in a home environment is located in a housing area in Brunei.
Cuckoo Brunei has opened its first two centres in Kampong Mata-Mata and Kampong Sungai Tilong and plans to open more in the future.
Cuckoo Brunei currently has 16,000 customers in the country and is looking to reach the target of 20,000 customers by the end of this year.
