Seven students will begin their higher education journey in Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) after completing a bridging programme with Micronet International College.
Yesterday, the students who had completed the 14-week Bridging Programme in Computing (BriComp)received certificates of completion from the guest of honour, UTB Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman.
The students were from the second intake of the BriCOMP programme, which is an undergraduate degree entry pathway for post-’A’-level students who fell short of the minimum points required for admission into UTB’s undergraduate degree programmes in Computing.
The programme provides students with fundamental knowledge and skills for the undergraduate programme.
Upon completion of BriCOMP, students are enrolled into the first year of their chosen undergraduate degree programme in UTB.
Micronet General Manager Sharon Chin and Micronet International College CEO Sylvester Yong were present at the ceremony.
