“We were unable to celebrate Belait Sixth Form Centre’s (PTEB) first anniversary due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. However, we were fortunate to be able to mark the second anniversary since we moved to PTEB on November 16, 2020,” said school principal Chin Ai Fong during a Creative Art Expo at the school on Saturday.

She hoped that students would take the opportunity to expand their views and perceptions on being creative and inspire them to pick up new skills and hobbies.

The event proceeded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officiate the launch of the expo.

Several booths were set up for students and teachers to showcase their creativity in drawing, building, and painting plastic models.

The expo also showcased a Gundam and Warhammer display by the Gundam Society Brunei and Mystique Creatures and a Miniature Lego City display by the I Lego User Group Brunei Kuala Belait (ILUGBNKN).

Two workshops were held on the assembly of Warhammer units and the making of Gunpla model kits as a group.

The school also conducted a co-curricular activity day for speaker club, young scientist club, drama and musical club, and spiritual club. The school also invited students from other sixth form centres to participate in the Pembimbing Rakan Remaja (PRR) Leadership and Fellowship Programme.
