Six members from inaugural cohort of NIHONGO Partners paid a courtesy call on Ambassador of Japan to Brunei Darussalam Maeda Toru yesterday.
The cohort, led by Japan Foundation Leader Tomoya Seki, will be in the Sultanate until September 25.
NIHONGO Partners is a programme that dispatches Japanese citizens to assist local Japanese-language educators and students in secondary schools across Asia.
While in the country, they will tour various private and public schools and look to collaborate with the Japan Friendship Association at Universiti Brunei Darussalam and Universiti Teknologi Brunei. – James Kon
