Contributions flow for COVID-19 fight

The Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday received donations from companies as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) as well as private donors in aiding the Government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in its fight against the second wave of COVID-19 in the country.

The donors were: TLT Enterprise, Bong Lily, Husaini, Josie Abdullah and Group, Laneige Brunei, Happy Star, Royal Brunei Airlines and Rezeki Bahirah.

Among the donated items were bottled water, water dispensers, infrared thermometers, electric kettles, toiletries, towels, blankets, wall partitions, disposable in-flight toothbrushes and vests, tapes, buckets and clip boards.

SWEE Sdn Bhd also donated BND100,000 to the COVID-19 Relief Fund yesterday.

With the COVID-19 restrictions in place, the donation was directly transferred to the fund.

Meanwhile, the National Service Programme (PKBN) Training Camp in Temburong District recently received contrubutions from tug-of-war teams – Chainblock, KB Bull, Lun Tau, Anak Brunei, MG5, SPSS and Dx – as well as individuals and families from Jalan Kamangsi Selatan of RPN Kampong Meragang and the surrounding areas.

Muhamad Ali bin Hassan presented the donations.
