With a space good for five or seven people, head-turning style, amazing 4WD performance and interior luxuries; the all-new facelift Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is a striking fusion of contemporary design, cutting-edge technology and inherits the Pajero series’ off-road capability, reliability and durability in a mid-size SUV.

The striking design combines sophisticated aesthetics with a muscular stance, making it a potent performer on whatever road conditions, and with the sleek lines from its distinctive chrome grille to its dramatic tail, the all-new facelifted Pajero Sport has an unmistakable presence that exudes confidence and capability.

With an enviable off-road heritage, the Pajero Sport is a luxury 4WD that is as comfortable off-road as it is prowling the urban jungle, embodying style and substance in one sleek, purposeful package and was redesigned with the theme, ‘Elevate your Journey’.

The new Pajero Sport features a more powerful yet refined exterior, high quality and comfortable interior with advanced functions and has been created to meet drivers’ desire for exploration and adventure.

Powered by the 2.4L MIVEC direct injection turbocharged diesel, the new facelift Pajero Sport gives powerful performance and all-terrain confidence while an eight-speed automatic transmission is robust and sophisticated, delivering excellent environmental and smooth performance.

Its wide range of gear ratios provides sparkling acceleration and smooth shifting, with enhanced fuel efficiency at highway cruising speeds.

While also retaining the Super-Select 4WD-II system with sporty paddle shifts that delivers optimal traction for all surfaces and confidence-inspiring handling characteristics, the off-road mode with a newly designed dial switch on 4WD models elevates all-terrain performance and self-extraction capability through the integrated control of engine output, transmission settings and brake power.

In addition, users can experience surefooted performance in any conditions with the Super Select system.

Handling everything from smooth city lanes to hazardous conditions and extreme terrain with minimal grip levels, Super Select has four modes to choose and all controlled with a single switch on the centre console.

Pajero Sport offers class leading turning radius (U-turns) of 5.2 metres with newly designed bold, thick and sharp 18″ Alloy wheels and one full spare tyre.

The exterior design accentuates wide, sculptured and powerful appearance of the facelifted Pajero Sport.

The signature Dynamic Shield front view design concept has been further evolved on the facelifted Pajero Sport while securing good visibility, emphasising the sense of wideness with the LED headlights continuing from the front grille and the combination lamps at the bumper corners.

This Dynamic Shield design offers greater protection for the passengers, pedestrians, and the vehicle itself.

The higher bonnet of the vehicle exhibits a deeper front face, while a more solid, powerful chrome part design projects a more refined, sophisticated appearance.

Full leather seats with ample knee and elbow room space are equipped in the cabin of the Pajero Sport, providing the feel of high quality and comfortable interior.

The refreshed floor console and soft padded interior door handles enhance the overall interior look with quality and comfort.

Be it workdays or weekends, Pajero Sport has ample space with generous head and leg room for every occupant and the cabin’s versatile storage options create abundant room for everyone.

A storage tray that sits under the floor console can be accessible from the left and right sides and new AC power outlet are added on the existing USB plug at the console rear panel, which improves usability for all passengers.

A push-start engine switch and keyless operation system are also featured for an added practicality.

The cabin is furnished with an eight-inch touchscreen player equipped with Smartphone Link Display Audio, which is compatible with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, while also providing access for the Navigation System.

The seats in second and third rows can be folded down to allow huge space for long and heavy loads.

In terms of safety, the New Car Assessment Programme for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) scored the new facelift Pajero Sport a full five-star in safety rating, with the safety features including seven SRS Airbags (driver, passenger, curtain for first row, second row, third row, sides and driver knee), Brake Auto Hold, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution system (EBD), Active Stability Control (ASTC), Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Active Traction Control.

The seats are built-in with ISOFIX system with top tether for child safety and are also equipped with multi-around monitor (bird’s eye view), rear sensor and reverse camera.
