Members of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Brunei Darussalam (NCCIBD) attended the virtual China (Huaihua)-ASEAN Green Agricultural products matchmaking conference yesterday.
NCCIBD President Haji Abdul Saman bin Haji Ahmad attended, was joined by NCCIBD Deputy Secretary General Haji Abdul Halim bin Haji Saim, Chinese Chamber of Commerce Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) President Malcolm Lim and Brunei Farmers Association President (interim) Haji Mohaimin bin Haji Johari @ Jahari. Also joining the delegation at the BSB Chinese Chamber of Commerce were Chinese Chamber of Commerce Vice President Vincent Pao and Brunei Farmers Association Treasurer (interim) Hazel Lim as well as other officials.
The conference highlighted the importance of further cooperation between China and ASEAN in the field of agriculture, especially during uncertain times.
The conference, organised by the China-ASEAN Business Council and Huaihua Municipal of Hunan province, China was attended by 300 participants comprising delegates and representatives of ASEAN member countries and China.
The event was aimed at promoting green agricultural products and cooperation.
