Competitions should be judged honestly and fairly

IT IS encouraging to see more activities being held for youth to participate in.

One such activity held recently was a singing competition.

I was disappointed to find out that the contestants of this competition were not fairly judged and that the competition’s organisers had already chosen their ‘selected’ finalists.

A contestant’s microphone was also sabotaged during a performance to prevent him/her from winning.

This is disappointing as the participants did their best and were taken for granted.

Contestants should be judged fairly according to their talent and vocal skills.

The 3rd and 4th runner-ups were also not given any trophy, voucher and hamper, when they were supposed to.

Despite this, I still hope more competitions (by other organisers) will be held in the future and that contestants will be judged honestly and fairly.
