Some 100 staff and officers from Brudesh Engineering and Management Sdn Bhd took part in an ‘Amazing Race’ organised by the company at Silver Jubilee Recreational Park in Kuala Belait yesterday.
Director of Operations Malai Izzat Faris bin Malai Haji Abdul Hamid explained that the event was an opportunity to promote a healthy lifestyle among the staff members and reaffirms the company’s commitment to maintaining employee welfare. “Many of the activities held as part of the Amazing Race event test not only the participants’ physical but also mental abilities to work together as a team,” he added.
Participants took part in five challenges – ‘Taste and Feel’, ‘Tallest Building’, ‘Back-to-back Drawing’, ‘Military’, and ‘Electric Fence’.
The Best Supervisor Award was won by Mohamad Rapi bin Aning, Best PAKAT Award was won by Jasani bin Haji Ali. The Most PAKAT Contributions and overall winner of the race was won by the Tree Cutting Team.
