A company was fined BND500 by the Tutong District for violation of Section 12(1)(b), Chapter 30 of the Miscellaneous Offences Act (Amendment) 2021 of dumping items in public space.
The company was given seven days to settle the fine. The failure to do so will result in a court case where if found guilty, will be fined between BND2,000 and BND10,000 for the first offence, between BND10,000 and BND30,000 or imprisonment of no more than 12 months or both for subsequent offences. – James Kon
