Companies mark Hari Raya with open houses

THREE hundred guests attended the Hari Raya celebration hosted by the Brunei Liaison Office of the Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan, at Radisson Hotel, Bandar Seri Begawan on Wednesday.

Guest of honour Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah and Deputy Minister of Energy, Manpower and Industry Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw were welcomed by Brunei Liaison Office General Manager Masaki Fujiwara and General Manager of Brunei Project Unit Tadashi Hara. Senior government officials, members of the Diplomatic Corps, clients and business partners as well as other stakeholders also participated.

The event aimed at fostering deeper relationships with clients, business partners and stakeholders as well as celebrating the festive occasion.

The Brunei Liaison Office functions as a liaison for the Mitsubishi Corporation’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) business, maximising the sustainable value of Brunei LNG, working side by side with Shell Brunei and the Brunei government as shareholders. The liaison office also promotes good relations through various fields including in education and sports as well as realising new business opportunities including the non-oil and gas industry to contribute to economic diversification in Brunei.

AS THE festive month of Syawal nears its end, celebrations are still going strong with Gleneagles Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) holding its annual Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house at the Tarindak D’Polo Restaurant in Jerudong yesterday.

Present were senior government officers, stakeholders, clients and members of foreign diplomatic corps, as well as officers and staff from Gleneagles JPMC.

The event aimed to strengthen ties with guests enjoying a feast during the festive occasion.

DELL Technologies, in collaboration with Netcom Computer House and Brusin as its authorised distributors here, hosted a Hari Raya open house at the Indera Samudera Hall of The Empire Hotel & Country Club in Jerudong on Wednesday.

Aside from senior officials and officers in the government sector, guests also comprised corporate clients and associates as well as bankers and representatives from the information technology (IT) industry.

Dell Business Development Manager Bernard Kho along with Enterprise Sales Manager Andy Yeoh and Channel Manager Chin Heng Lee welcomed the guests.

Also welcoming guests were Managing Director of Netcom Computer House Vincent Goh, General Manager Jackie Lim and Technical Director Chong King Fui as well as the Brusin management team.

While guests enjoyed the spread of Hari Raya cuisine and entertained with Raya themed songs, others took the opportunity to take selfies at the photo booths set up by two operators.
