Cuckoo International (B) Sdn Bhd (Cuckoo) marked its 8th anniversary by donating materials to repair a wooden bridge and jetty in Kampong Setia ‘A’. The renovation was completed and officially opened yesterday.
Penghulu Mukim Zone 2 of Kampong Ayer Raimi bin Rashid and Acting Village Head of Kampong Ayer Zone 3 Rahman bin Haji Kassim along with local residents attended the opening ceremony.
The renovation, carried out by local residents, aims to improve life for residents and make it easier for tourists to visit.
The upgraded jetty now provides a convenient starting point for those exploring Kampong Setia ‘A’ by boat.
The company also donated essential food items to 10 selected families from Kampong Setia ‘A’ and ‘B’. Cuckoo Marketing Executive Amir Hazwan Hamidon presented the donation. The initiative is part of the company’s effort to support underprivileged families and strengthen the sense of community.
