Some 50 people from Brunei Alphard Vellfire Enthusiasts (BRAVE), Kampong Sungai Teraban Mosque, Kampong Sungai Teraban Village Consultative Council and Belait District Youth and Sports Department (JBS) participated in a cleaning campaign at Kampong Sungai Teraban Mosque recently.
BRAVE founder Khairul Azmi bin Matkasim led the group. They were welcomed by Kampong Sungai Teraban Acting Village Head Zaini bin Haji Kadri and mosque imam Mohd Nur Islam bin Suria.
The activities included cutting grass and rearranging the mosque’s books and reference materials.
Mosque and BRAVE representatives exchanged tokens of appreciation and certificates at the end of the event.
Khairul Azmi said the group will organise more cleaning campaigns across the nation while Zaini said the village is preparing for more activities in the near future.
