CNY celebrated with Pusat Ehsan students

OVER 100 students from Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam in Bengkurong erupted with joy with a lion dance performance as part of the Chinese New Year celebration hosted by the Brunei Buddhist Light International Association (BLIA) yesterday.

Present was Deputy President of BLIA Agnes Yong alongside BLIA members to spark joy by belting Lunar New Year melodies and giving away red packets or angpao to all the community in the centre.

The highlight was a traditional lion dance performed by the Daggers troupe which it perfectly executed by emanating three ornate lion costume performing through the crowds, tossing lollipops to excited students.

Pusat Ehsan students also entertained members of BLIA with their dancing skills.

To conclude the event, BLIA provided a Chinese New Year buffet spread. Pusat Ehsan is an organisation committed to providing quality education, rehabilitation and training programmes for individuals with special needs.

The centre welcomes donations and contributions from companies, organisations and individuals that can assist in providing a fulfilling life for Pusat Ehsan community.
