On April 29, a landslide hit my residence at Simpang 162-48-13-21, Jalan Tungku, collapsing a portion of the wall that separates my home compound from the hill.
With the current unpredictable weather conditions, I fear another landslide is days away, with an avalanche of mud and debris inching closer to my home.
For the past three months, my family and I have been on high alert, especially during heavy downpours. It has brought a tremendous level of stress. While I have contacted the authorities, no corrective measures have thus far been taken to arrest the situation.
We are desperate and I hope this letter reaches the attention of the relevant agency before time runs out.
