CHMS teachers upgrade skills through PD workshops

CHUNG Hwa Middle School (CHMS), BSB conducted its annual professional development programme for its teachers from March 15-16.

CHMS BSB Principal Kho Guik Lan said that education in the 21st Century has become increasingly challenging, resulting in educators and administrators being in constant search of ways to prepare students for the future.

Day two of the training began with Kho Guik Lan sharing her takeaways from the 19th UNESCO APEID conference. A whole-school workshop entitled ‘The Leader in Me!’ was facilitated by Assistant Principal Tan Been Tiem and Kalpana Kishorekumar.

CHMS, BSB teachers demonstrated that they are always ready to learn, unlearn and relearn innovative practices and technology, helping them to keep student progress and accomplishment on track. The lessons gleaned from their training undoubtedly allowed CHMS educators to share what they know and learn from one another.
