China’s goods, services trade surplus nears CNY200B in December

BEIJING (Xinhua) – China’s international goods and services trade surplus stood at CNY198.7 billion (USD28.3 billion) last December, official data showed yesterday.

Trade income amounted to CNY1.81 trillion while expenditure stood at CNY1.61 trillion, according to data from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.

In breakdown, China’s goods trade income stood at CNY1.63 trillion with an expenditure of CNY1.29 trillion, leading to a CNY345 billion surplus, the data showed.

Meanwhile, services trade saw a CNY146.3 billion deficit, as services income and expenditure stood at CNY182.4 billion and CNY328.6 billion, respectively.
