Bito-on said, “With the support of our brand partner Beko, we hope this donation will help those in need while aiding the parents. Beko will continue its aspiration to contribute to the social development in countries that operate through social, cultural, environmental and sporting projects, products and services.”

Meanwhile Dr Hajah Mawarni conveyed her appreciation to Intracorp (B) Sdn Bhd for the contribution.

“On behalf of the CDC as well as children and families we serve , we would like to thank you for the donation. It will go a long way in helping the children and we look forward to future collaborations with Intracorp,” she said.

Dr Hajah Mawarni said the donation will be used to buy equipment for daily activities.

“One of our bungalows is used for the early child development programme where we teach the children how to carry out daily task by themselves.

“If we can purchase an oven and a fridge, we can teach them how to bake or make dough.

Through this, they can learn to coordinate their hand movement and shapes as well as sizes.

It is learning while having fun. In the end, they also get to enjoy the products of their efforts.”
