Certificates for CPR training participants

The Ministry of Health (MoH) held a closing ceremony to mark the completion of the First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training Workshop, this time for the residents of Mukim Labi and Mukim Bukit Sawat.

Held at the Multi-purpose Hall of Kampong Sungai Mau, Mukim Bukit Sawat yesterday, the ceremony saw Permanent Secretary at the MoH Haji Abdul Manap bin Othman attending as guest of honour, on behalf of the Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar.

Legislative Council (LegCo) member and Acting Penghulu of Mukim Labi Yang Berhormat Hanapi bin Mohd Siput; Deputy Permanent Secretary (Professional) at the MoH Dr Haji Zulaidi bin Haji Abdul Latif; Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Management) at the MoH Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin; Belait District Officer Ramlee bin Haji Jamudin; directors and senior officers from the MoH attended.

Following the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, Penghulu of Mukim Bukit Sawat Haji Mohd Salleh bin Othman delivered a speech explaining how participants had learnt about the proper techniques in performing first aid and CPR.

The ceremony continued with the handing over of first aid kits and AEDs to representatives of Mukim Labi and Mukim Bukit Sawat, including Village Head of Kampong Labi II Haji Metossin bin Matzin; Acting Village Head of Kampong Bukit Sawat Mohammad bin Abdullah; and Assistant Officer-in-Charge of the Police Reserve Unit Company ‘C’ ASP Azhan bin Anuar.

Certificates were also awarded to the participants.
