    Censorship officials meet Malaysian counterparts

    Seven officials from the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) attended a meeting with Malaysia’s Ministry of Home Affairs’ Enforcement and Control Division in Kuala Lumpur recently.

    The meeting was aimed at strengthening ties and sharing best practices between the two agencies.

    PDI Director Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh led the Brunei delegation comprising the centre’s Screening and Exhibition Division officials – Pengiran Hajah Haslina Suriani binti Pengiran Haji Piut, Hajah Sarbiah binti Haji Jumat, Ramlee bin Haji Kassim, Siti Ramziah binti Haji Mohamad Ramli, Muhammad Za’im bin Haji Awang Ali and Hajah Aqilah Mukarramah binti Haji Salleh.

    They also had meetings with Film Censorship Board Chairman Haji Mohd Dusuki bin Haji Yaakob; Al-Quran and Hadith Regulatory Section Chief Assistant Senior Secretary Dr Mohd Zamir bin Bahall; Malaysian Islamic Development Department (JAKIM) Research Division Senior Director Dr Muhammad Yamin bin Ismail; and Restu Foundation Executive Chairman and Nasyrul Quran Chief Executive Abdul Latiff Mirasa.
