Celebrations of Israk Mikraj continued in the country as organisations held religious ceremonies and lectures to glorify Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) historic journey and ascension.
Yesterday, the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation for Vocational and Technical Education and Training (SEAMEO Voctech) held a religious ceremony and lecture at its Jubilee Hall.
SEAMEO Voctech Director Alias bin Haji Abu Bakar attended the ceremony, along with the deputy director, officers and staff.
A lecture on ‘Peristiwa Israk dan Mikraj Pedoman Akhir Zaman’ was delivered by a religious lecturer from the Anwar Al-Hudaa Centre, Pengiran Abdul Basit bin Pengiran Haji Zain. A tausyeh performance also enlivened the ceremony.
Meanwhile, the Women’s Bureau of Kampong Sengkurong ‘A’ held a similar religious ceremony to mark Israk Mikraj at Syarikat Nurizna in Jalan Mulaut. In addition to prayers, a lecture highlighted lessons learnt from Israk Mikraj.
