Halalan Thayyiban Student Society (HTSS) from the Halalan Thayyiban Research Centre (HTRC) at Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) is organising a Halalan Thayyiban Carnival in conjunction with the 39th National Day celebration.
HTRC Director Pengiran Dr Hajah Norkhairiah binti Pengiran Haji Hashim officiated the four-day event, from March 9-12, at UNISSA campus in Sinaut.
The carnival features 20 businesses selling food, clothes and services from 9am to 5pm.
Other activities include halal food preparation demonstration, quizzes and video games.
The event is aimed at training students to enter the halal food industry and foster entrepreneurship spirit.
